A long time ago, Rancenes was tiny village of twenty peoples. There were a school, a convent, many fields, one farm, one chapel and some houses.
Located close to Givet, fifth city of the Ardennes, Givet is the last river town before Belgium. In the heart of the ardennes and historically located in the Wallon speaking area, this border town occupies, with it strategic position, a great site with remarkable urban and historical heritage.
